The Nevada campaign to place Open and Clean Government on the ballot came to a premature end in March when proponents of the measures discovered there was substantial opposition to the initiative. Like Colorado, the Nevada proponents attempted to place both Open and Clean and paycheck deception on the ballot together. The public face of the campaign was Republican activist Kris Munn. When asked by the Las Vegas Review Journal about the backers of these initiatives, Munn admitted that they were "largely out-of-state donors" and that the initiatives weren't even his idea
