Voters sign one petition, find their names on another
Fraud Merchant Mike Arno: Voters across Western Massachusetts are surprised to learn their signatures appeared on an initiative seeking to ban gay marriage, although all recall being asked to sign a petition in support of gay marriage. When asked, Kris Mineau, President of the Massachusetts Family Institute told WWLP that, "I find it hard to believe that an adult, a registered voter would just not pay attention to what they were signing." Mineau goes even further and suggests that voters who claimed to have been tricked into signing the initiative were actually plants sent to discredit the Institute's drive.
